He was a giant. A man who's strengh of character was inspiring. He had an incredible discipline when it came to his work ethic and the standards he accepted of himself, and others. He was a man of courage, upholding his principles and morals, he would not lower his standards for anyone, add to that he had the integrity to say exactly what he thought, whomever the audience. He had a great stoic stalwart dedication and commitment to his family that gave him so much pride. I am looking forward to telling my own children the story of John Frost, the example and standard he has set for the next generation is phenomenal. For us lucky enough to call him grandad though there was another side, a happy grafter always wearing a flap cap, a low chuckle, that still makes me laugh when I think about it, and a giant sausage finger directing me to put the kettle on. Ta da Grandad, till the FRV.
Hi Grandad, it's Carl here. I just wanted to say how much of a role model you've been over these years to me and since dad passed away. Never really said it, but your drive and determination is what pushed me on. Small things but the fact you get up so early and don't waste a day provided me with the same mentality and focus at work and I think is part of why I've achieved what I have. Your hard working attitude always stood out to me along with your attitude of not taking any sh*t from people haha. Gone, but not forgotten.
Loving memories of my darling dad xxxxxxx
